Tracy Nicodemo Named Executive Director of Leadership Stark County
The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Tracy Nicodemo has been named the new Executive Director of Leadership Stark County, effective January 1, 2025. Nicodemo, who joined the organization in early 2024 as Program Director, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for leadership development and community engagement.
Leadership Stark County offers programs designed to develop leaders at all stages of their careers and has been a cornerstone in the region’s efforts to cultivate community leaders. Under Nicodemo’s direction, the Leadership programs will continue to empower participants and alumni to tackle pressing challenges and seize opportunities to strengthen Stark County.
“Tracy’s proven dedication to leadership development and her deep commitment to our community make her uniquely qualified for this role,” said Jeff Dafler, President & CEO of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Her vision and enthusiasm will ensure Leadership Stark County continues to inspire and equip leaders to make a lasting impact.”
Nicodemo will oversee efforts to expand program offerings, increase alumni engagement, and ensure participants are well-prepared to address the challenges and opportunities facing Stark County.

Since its inception as a program of the Canton Chamber in 1985, Leadership Stark County has been a key resource in fostering civic-minded leaders. Current programs include the Signature Program, which connects participants to community stakeholders and key local issues; the Spotlight for Young Professionals, tailored for emerging leaders early in their careers; and the Youth Leadership Academy, aimed at cultivating leadership skills in area high school students.
